Output file glossary

The following columns are available in our revenue forecast.

• Average Wholesale Price, £/MWh - The mean price paid for electricity on the wholesale market per megawatt‐hour.
• Total AC Solar Generation, MWh - The overall amount of electricity generated by the solar plant on the AC side, measured in MWh.
• Unclipped Solar Generation, MWh - The potential total solar energy production before any curtailment (or “clipping”) occurs.
• Clipped Solar Generation, MWh - The portion of solar generation that is curtailed due to system or grid constraints.
• Avg. Solar Load Factor - The percentage representing the actual energy produced relative to the maximum possible output over a period.
• REGO Revenue, £/MWp - Income earned per MWp from Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin incentives.
• REGO Revenue Lost from Solar Clipping, £/MWp - The potential REGO income forfeited because solar output was reduced (clipped).
• CfD Strike Price, £/MWh - The fixed price per MWh agreed under a Contract for Difference (CfD) arrangement.
• Merchant Only Revenue, £/MWp - Revenue per MWp derived solely from selling electricity on the merchant market, excluding CfD support.
• Merchant Only Revenue Lost from Solar Clipping, £/MWp - The merchant revenue per MWp lost when generation is curtailed.
• CfD Difference Payments, £/MWp - Payments made to cover the gap between the market price and the CfD strike price, on a per MWp basis.
• CfD Revenue (Merchant Revenue + CfD Difference Payments), £/MWp - Total revenue per MWp for a CfD project, combining both merchant earnings and difference payments.
• CfD Revenue Lost in Negative Price Hours, £/MWp - Revenue per MWp that is lost during hours when the market price is negative under the CfD scheme.
• CfD Revenue Lost from Solar Clipping, £/MWp - The reduction in CfD-related revenue per MWp resulting from curtailed (clipped) solar generation.
• Solar Capture Price, £/MWh - The generation weighted day ahead power price that the solar receives.
• Solar Capture Rate - The ratio between average day ahead power price and solar capture price
• Profile Delta (Capture Price - Wholesale Price), £/MWh - The difference between the solar capture price and the average wholesale price.
• Total Revenue for Merchant Project (REGO + Merchant Revenue), £/MWp - The combined revenue per MWp for a merchant project, including both REGO and merchant revenues.
• Total Revenue for CfD Project (REGO + CfD with Merchant Tail), £/MWp - The overall revenue per MWp for a CfD project, integrating REGO income with CfD payments and any additional merchant revenue.
