Solar generation profile

This section describes how solar generation profiles are created and manipulated in the solar revenue model.

There are two options for including solar generation profiles in our model:

• Modo-generated P50 solar forecast:
  • Provide your site details, and we will generate a bespoke solar generation forecast for your location.
• Supply your own solar forecast:
  • The model is configured to directly read PVsyst outputs.
  • Alternatively, you can provide a simple time series of solar generation at half-hourly granularity.

In both cases, we ensure that cannibalisation effects are properly captured by reordering the solar generation profile to align with the Fundamentals Model weather assumptions.
