Re-optimisation of wholesale position into balancing mechanism
Once a battery has reached its maximum number of cycles, it is able to re-optimise its existing wholesale position in the balancing mechanism. Below is an example of a battery in London reversing its wholesale day-ahead position in the intraday markets, in order to accept offers in the balancing mechanism.
